RZA of Wu Tang Clan is now the center of a controversy. In the early hours of this past Saturday (Nov. 7) two stabbings occurred at his home in New Jersey. It is unknown as of yet whether RZA, real name Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, was present at the time of the stabbings but a police investigation is underway through the Major Crimes unit in order to figure out the reasons behind the incident.

NJ.com reported that the New Jersey state police were called when there was a reported stabbing at the Deer Trail Drive residence in the wee hours of the morning. Sergeant Gregory Williams, who is serving as a representative for the department, confirmed that police responded to the call at 1:18 AM. When they arrived, two men were found stabbed.

Williams reported that both men had serious injuries from the assault and were subsequently taken to the Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment. It was also reported that Diggs was not a patient at the time that the two victims were checked in. While Williams did not reveal any more details and did not confirm that it was in fact Diggs's house, property records show that he owns the residence.

This is not the first time that RZA has been under investigation. Recently found FBI documents confirm that Wu Tang Clan members RZA and Raekwon were under investigation for an alleged murder plot involving two Staten Island drug dealers many years ago in 1999. The lawyer of convicted drug dealer Anthony Christian alleges that an unearthed FBI file confirms that the murder of 17-year-old Christian was convicted of killing was orchestrated by members of the rap group.
