The Chainsmokers are still sitting pretty on top of the Billboard charts with their Halsey collaboration "Closer," but that has not stopped Alex Pall and Drew Taggart from keeping their foot down and releasing new music. The pair has just released their new single "This Is All We Know" featuring Phoebe Ryan.

The new single continues on their future bass kick. They open the track with soft piano and vocals from Phoebe Ryan and Drew Taggart about the struggles of a relationship, but sticking it out no matter what.

Then the track drops into another infectious hook with sugary synths and punchy drums with heavy reverb as the pair coos, "this is all we know."

One lesson they appeared to take away from "Closer" was to layer the Taggart's vocals with Ryan's during the hook so to not leave him so exposed, especially when singing live. He is still new to signing and one can hear it, but it is a nice wrinkle to their music, especially when layered with an excellent vocalist like Phoebe Ryan.

It would be easy to say this has no chance of being as big as "Closer," but these guys have constantly proven their doubters wrong. Despite a bit of bad press recently, the hits keep on coming for these two. This may not top the charts for six weeks, but it could bring them back there.

Big things are on the horizon for The Chainsmokers. Through various social media posts, especially Snapchats, they have shared the news of potential collaborations with Ryan Tedder and Chris Martin.

"All We Know" is out now on all portals here and can be streamed below.
