Christina Aguilera performs "Accelerate" at the Los Angeles Pride. She sang the remixed version of the track during a drag competition.

During her performance on Sunday, Aguilera, who was wearing a leopard print coat, told the event attendees that the remixed version of "Accelerate" was done just for the L.A. Pride. The dance remix also features the voices of Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz, who are part of the original track as well.

Aguilera showed up at the L.A. Pride at the end of the drag competition. RuPaul Drag Race stars Sonique, Morgan McMichaels, and Farrah Moan was also there.

Christina Aguilera's Albums

Aguilera first released the studio version of "Accelerate" last month. The track is featured in the singer's Liberation album. The compilation, which will be released on June 15, features the songs "Searching for Maria," "Maria," "Sick of Sittin'," "Dreamers," "Fall In Line (feat. Demi Lovato)," "Right Moves (feat. Keida & Shenseea)," "Like I Do," "Deserve," "Twice," "I Don't Need It Anymore (Interlude)," "Pipe," "Masochist," and "Unless It's With You."

Liberation also serves as a follow-up to Aguilera's 2012 album Lotus. The tracks featured in Lotus are "Lotus Intro," "Army of Me," "Red Hot Kinda Love," "Make the World Move," "Your Body," "Let There Be Love," "Sing for Me," "Blank Page," "Cease Fire," "Around the World," "Circles," "Best of Me," and "Just A Fool."

No Plans To Return To 'The Voice'

In May, Aguilera made headlines after she had shared her thoughts about The Voice. The singer served as a judge on the hit NBC reality TV competition for five years. However, Aguilera saw the show as an energy sucker, and she decided to leave because she wanted more freedom to do whatever she wants.

When she comes home from set, Aguilera said that she takes off her makeup, blasts hip-hop or Nirvana and tries to get out of the TV mode. During her interview, Aguilera was also asked if she would ever consider returning to The Voice, and she said that she prefers to talk about more positive things.

"It became something that I didn't feel was what I had signed up for in season one. You realize it's not about music. It's about making good TV moments and massaging a story," said Aguilera.

Aguilera also dished on Liberation at the time and said that "Maria" is her favorite track from the album. The singer teamed up with Kanye West on the song. The two artists fell out of touch due to the rapper's hospitalization in 2016.
