Camila Cabello Opens Up About Break Up With Shawn Mendes

A few weeks ago, Camila Cabello reflected on the next phase of her life during an interview on Apple Music 1's New Music Daily, saying her priorities have "fluctuated" and her focus had shifted throughout her life.

Speaking about their dating phase, she said her focus was how she could be a "well-rounded" person and look forward to the future of having a happy life and relationship.

During the promotion of her latest album, the former Fifth Harmony member said she's not having fun as her priorities shift, and both of them felt the same thing because their connection started way too early.

"We're really learning how to be healthy adults. And that sometimes means not having your number one focus be your career. And that's okay," she added.

Per E! News, Cabello said she loves Mendes and can offer nothing but love for him, and her new song, "Bam Bam," heavily referenced their relationship, saying it's about the cycles of love, life, and love.

The "Señorita" singers first met in 2014, but dating rumors began circulating in 2019. The pair announced their break up in November 2021.
