Snoop Dogg might become the latest collaborator of the K-pop supergroup, BTS.

As BTS continues to outshine musicians in the international music scene, more artists are trying to win their "yes" for a possible collaboration. One of the music icons who received an invitation from the boy band includes Snoop Dogg.

During the red carpet event for the premiere of the rapper and Kelly Clarkson's "American Song Contest," the 50-year-old revealed that he and BTS are now in talks to make new music together. He first hinted about the collaboration as early as January, when he announced that the K-pop artist sent him an invitation to work together.

"I'm going to let them tell you about it. It's official like a referee with a whistle. I love that entertainment world. It's good music. It's [a] vibe," he told The A.V. Club.

BTS has not confirmed the reported collaboration, but the group constantly expresses their admiration toward Snoop Dogg. For instance, they paid tribute to his debut album, "Doggystyle," in their song "Hip Hop Phile" in 2014.

With that, Snoop Dogg expects that they will bring their worlds together since he and BTS both make good music.

Snoop Dogg is no longer a stranger in the K-pop scene, though. Before BTS, he had already made appearances in several K-pop artists' works, including 2NE1.

As a K-pop supergroup, BTS also gets the chance to collaborate with international musicians.

The K-pop group teamed up with Steve Aoki in their 2017 song "Mic Drop" and "Waste It on Me." The DJ has been showering them with praises as he literally witnessed their growth over the years.

In an interview with Metro at the 2019 Brit Awards, Aoki said that he felt the best feeling when he rooted for them and saw them dominate the global charts instantly.

"Then you realize they're bigger than music. It's cultural; something really powerful for Asian people around the world ... All these Asian kids look up to them and now they have this feeling they can have an impact. I see them as something much larger than just the songs they make. I'm excited and honored to be able to work with them," he said.

BTS also previously worked with Coldplay, Lauv, The Chainsmokers, Nicki Minaj, Halsey, and THANH, among others.

The group has also been busy with collaborations outside the music industry, including the Garena Free Fire.
