It's been three years since Slipknot last released the album titled "We Are Not Your Kind," and fans are still waiting for its follow-up as they want to hear new music from the band. It seems like a new record is on its way, teased by Corey Taylor.

According to Rock 96.7 Online, the band performed in Cincinnati, Ohio, yesterday, and the frontman promised the crowd that new music is coming "very f****** soon."

Slipknot is known for having lengthy breaks between releases of their new albums, and it happened several times in the past, like the six-year gap between "All Hope Is Gone" in 2008 and "The Gray Chapter" in 2014.

As of this writing, there is little to no information about their upcoming album, but Taylor confirmed at their Ohio concert that their latest song, "The Chapeltown Record," will be a part of the album.

This is not what happened to their track "All Out Life," as it was released ahead of "We Are Not Your Kind," but it never made it to the album.

Taylor also revealed that there is still no official release date, but Taylor assured fans that they don't have to wait any longer.

"Now, we don't have an exact date on [the new album's release] but I'm here to tell you, you're not going to be waiting very, very f****** long. G** d******, I promise you, you will have new f****** Slipknot music very f****** soon," the frontman said.

Slipknot Stops the Show to Save a Struggling Fan

In the same concert where Corey Taylor confirmed the news about new music coming soon, the band stopped the show to direct EMTs to a struggling fan in the crowd who needed medical attention.

According to Loudwire, the show was held at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati as part of their highly-anticipated Knotfest Roadshow with special guests Ho99o9 and Cypress Hill.

While playing the song "Unsainted," Jim Root signaled Taylor and pointed toward the crowd. The frontman then stopped the show and called the EMT on the microphone to help the struggling fan.

"Can we get EMTs in there? Everybody back up, give some room. Give some room, make sure they can get in," he said.

The singer then praised his bandmates for noticing the incident and telling him what happened to their fan.

After the patient was safely escorted out, Taylor said he wanted to make sure that the fan would be taken somewhere where they could get looked at.
