After Kelis accused Beyoncé and the songwriters/producers of "thievery," the singer made a massive move at the credits of her new album "Renaissance."
According to BuzzFeed News, the 40-year-old star removed the sample of "Milkshake" in her song "Energy" after Kelis claimed it was stolen from her.
Listeners noted that the version of the song which sampled the 2000s hit was removed from music streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, but it is still accessible on her YouTube channel.
The outlet noted that the original version featured the lyrics and melody "la-la, la, la... la" from "Milkshake."
The recent removal of the song comes a few days after a fan account dedicated to Kelis shared that the "Break My Soul" songstress sampled the 2003 song.
However, the singer confirmed that she heard about it and claimed that it was an act of theft instead of a collaboration.
"Nothing is ever as it seems, some of the people in this business have no soul or integrity and they have everyone fooled," she replied.

The 42-year-old singer later took to Instagram live to call out Beyoncé and her former collaborators the Neptunes, who are credited at Kelis' first three albums as producers.
The Neptunes consist of two musicians, Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo.
The singer claimed that the duo allegedly "swindled" Kelis out of owning the song she released in the past as she isn't credited as a writer or producer of the song in question.
"I know what I own and what I don't own. I also know the lies that were told. I also know the things that were stolen," Kelis said.
This isn't the first controversy Beyoncé has faced after releasing "Renaissance" last Friday as she was also called out by online users for being an "ableist" after using the derogatory slur "spaz" in the song "Heated."
The incident lead her team to issue a statement, saying the lyrics were not intended in a harmful way and they will release a new version containing new lyrics.
In addition, famed songwriter Diane Warren seemingly called her out for having 24 writers for the song "Alien Superstar," but she later apologized and clarified that her tweet wasn't shady, but rather, she's just curious.
Following this, Warren was met with backlash as many Beyoncé fans criticized her in the reply section.
