Jack White may be one of the most professional musicians in the industry as he takes his craft and projects seriously, but his drummer recently revealed that he doesn't really know which song is going to play next whenever he performs at concerts.

In a recent interview with AL, Daru Jones revealed that the singer doesn't use a setlist during his shows.

To find out what song is going to play next, the musician explained that the 47-year-old record producer and his band only feed off each other.

Jones should have a very attentive presence as he needs to keep an eye on the singer to keep him on track.

"Sometimes we go into grooves and music that we've never played before," he noted. (via iHeart)

Explaining how their situation works, the drummer noted that he and the rest of the band listen to the singer's riff and whenever they notice a specific sound, they know what song they'll be playing next.

He added that it's exciting for him and the audience as they never really know which track are they going to perform, but team effort is the number one key as they're all in it together.

Jack White New Album 2022

It seems like Jack White has had a very productive year as he released his second album of 2022 last month titled "Entering Heaven Alive."

In an interview with ALT 98.7, he revealed his process whenever he creates a new album, saying he lets the music guide him before starting on a new project.

He noted that the songs and sound dictate what will happen next.

White never really intended to create two albums this year and create that many songs, but the music started coming out naturally which led to him releasing two big projects in 2022.

Jack White is currently on the road for his tour. His next show will be at the Saint Louis Music Park in Missouri on August 28.

He only has a few shows left for around the United States and he will be visiting different cities over the next few weeks.

His last show would be at the Ohana Festival 2022 in Dana Point, California, on October 1 before performing overseas in countries like Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Australia.

Tickets are available on his official website.
