The 20th anniversary edition of 'Stripped' will be released by Christina Aguilera.

On October 21, the 41-year-old pop princess will release a special anniversary version of her fourth studio album, which sold 12 million copies internationally.

The digital commemoration, which will be made accessible in Dolby Atmos for the first time ever, will feature updated cover art and two bonus tracks. A vinyl edition will be released on March 3, 2023, and is currently available for pre-order.

The new album will be commemorated with a reinvented music video for her empowerment anthem "Beautiful" by award-winning director Fiona Jane Burgess.

The video, which will debut on the Grammy winner's official YouTube account on Wednesday (19.10.2022), will disseminate the message of the self-love song through young people who have encountered the demands of social media.

Aguilera, who has a 14-year-old son with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman and an 8-year-old daughter with her fiance Matthew Rutler, originally teased the video for 'Beautiful (2022 Version)' in honor of World Mental Health Day last week.

She tweeted that in honor of the 20th anniversary of Stripped and World Mental Health Day, she is pleased to announce the release of a new music video for "Beautiful" on October 19. She requests people to turn off the radio and just turn in so they can rest their mind, body and spirit.

When the original video debuted in 2002, Aguilera's fans were amazed by the footage's natural beauty and the song's emotive lyrics.

As Aguilera sings, clips of a lady with anorexia studying herself in the mirror were shown, as well as a same-sex couple kissing, a trans woman preparing to go out, and young people being tormented for their appearances.

Since its premiere, Aguilera's song and its accompanying music video have served as anthems for those in search of comfort and understanding. Aguilera's words have boosted the emotions of millions of people over the past two decades, making her decision to release a new music video on World Mental Health Day all the more significant.

Christina has recently opened up about her own mental health difficulties, telling Health that she "would never want to relive" her twenties after a battle with anxiety and melancholy caused by childhood trauma left her unable to keep up with the spotlight.

It is a daily struggle to conquer an anxious mentality, one that is constantly second-guessing. Reflecting on her youth, the mother-of-two provided a poignant story of her ascent to popularity, confessing that she was struggling to overcome her fears. Now, the Grammy-winning artist is urging her followers to quit comparing themselves to others. "Start appreciating and owning your body," she added.
