50 Cent is known to have an estranged relationship with his son. The previous week, his son, Marquise Jackson, brought up how the rapper's child support money was barely enough to cover house expenses.

During his interview with "The Breakfast Club," 50 Cent addressed some of his son's claims, including Jackson's offer of $6,700 to spend some time with him.

"See, Charlamagne, you would call me. You don't call TMZ to say you want to sit down," the rapper said. "Think about it, man. You know, he wants some attention, and it's okay he can have as much of that as he wants."

$6,700

Jackson claimed that 50 Cent only paid $6,700 in child support, which was not enough to sustain his lifestyle in New York City.

"Since y'all think $6,700 is so much money someone tell my pops I will pay him $6,700 for just 24hr of his time so we can do everything I ever wanted to do with him as a kid," wrote the 25-year-old in an Instagram post, partnered with a picture of himself next to a pile of cash that read "entitled."

This comes after he revealed the alleged struggles he and his mother went through. "$6,700 a month in... New York City, you do the math."

"You're talking about a Forbes lister - you're talking about someone that has problems with everybody - you can't just live in any neighborhood, $81K is not a substantial amount of money. You can't just live anywhere," he told Choke No Joke.

'Entitled'

50 Cent alleged that Jackson's line of thinking followed his mother's, "He's been trained to believe what you seen him saying in that interview. What he was saying, he's been trained to believe that for a long time. [sic]"

"When I said he's entitled, really it's his mom's entitlement... I told you I was giving her half a million dollars a year."

He added that he has the paperwork to prove that he paid half a million dollars per year, however, he noted that the money was not enough for his ex, who wanted more, thus he "took her to child support."

"You don't usually sign up for child support like I took myself to child support because she wasn't understanding that I'm already giving more than you're supposed to give. Then when it turns into the $6,700, that's not enough and it's never going to be enough."

50 Cent opened up about his relationship with Jackson, and explained why they were estranged.

"It is sad, it's a sad situation. When you pray for success, you don't necessarily pray for the things that come with it. It's no such thing as success without jealousy, without envy or entitlement," he said.

He also criticized his son for his actions despite his age, a sentiment, many fans echoed. "He's 23, 24 years old. He's not a baby no more. That's a grown man."
