Fans thought they would never hear from Kid Cudi ever again after he announced that he is planning to retire from the music industry.

However, the rapper is back with some big news-he is releasing another album. He took to Twitter, as he always does, to share the exciting news with his fans: "I'm doin one more album and then I'm done w my deal and not sure what ima do after that but yea, one more. [sic]"

He also added that the wait won't be long, because it "won't be next year." With only a month left in 2022, one can only conclude that the album might come in December or maybe even later this month.

He added that he dedicates the upcoming album to his fans who "have been riding with [him] for so long." Cudi has been the topic of several hate comments and his name has been dragged into several beefs this year alone. Although he did not say that his retirement was due to those issues when he had a guest appearance on "Hot Ones. "This will be all new music. The songs I've teased I'll prolly put out as singles here and there to hold you over. [sic]"

While he was on "Hot Ones," host Sean Evans asked the rapper who was his inspiration and blueprint for aging gracefully as an artist. After replying it was Jay-Z, he added, "But I don't feel like I have what they have. I just don't know if I wanna do music, drop albums for too much longer, you know? I'm kind of nearing the end on all things Kid Cudi, I think."

This comes after him releasing his eighth studio album, "Entergalactic" in September.

Although he has plans of stepping away from the limelight in music, he has taken on other venues to keep himself occupied.

Despite not being vocal about where he is headed to next once he retires, Cudi's name might not go away anytime yet, especially not with his upcoming album around the corner.
