Kendrick Lamar gave his fans the ultimate treat this year when he released the highly-anticipated follow-up to his 2017 album "DAMN."

His newest album, "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppes," received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics and from fans.

The Guardian, The Independent, The Times, NME, and The Evening Standard gave the project five out of five stars, noting the vulnerability of Lamar's project and his impeccable lyricism.

Over the years, Lamar has been hailed by his peers as a great lyricist. His 2017 album "DAMN" was even awarded the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for Music, becoming the first non-jazz and classical work recipient of the award.

Even Eminem gave the rapper his flowers, calling Lamar the "greatest lyricist of all-time."

Now, a New York Times article affirmed the same sentiments of the hip-hop community.

"At 35, Kendrick is the most important rapper of his generation, and he just might be its most elliptical too, sharing revelatory self-portraits in his work but little of himself outside it," the report said about Lamar. "In partnership with his longtime collaborator, Dave Free, the greatest rapper of his generation is pushing himself - commercially and creatively - onto unexpected terrain."

The praises of Lamar's work are pretty much widely-known in the music industry, which is why people weren't actually shocked that he rapped alongside rap giants on this year's Super Bowl Halftime show with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige.

With this recent affirmation of his impact on music, fans are curious, how much is Kendrick Lamar worth?
