Aside from the headliners at this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival like BLACKPINK, Frank Ocean, and Bad Bunny, many fans are also excited to see other performances play live like Björk. More recently, the avant-garde songstress shared details about her highly-anticipated set.

Taking to her official Twitter account, the Icelandic singer revealed that she would perform alongside Björk Orkestral, a local orchestra. She would also play songs from her three-decade-old music catalog.

In the photo, which features the musician wearing a shiny metallic headpiece and an unusual gown silhouette, she added the official dates where would perform at the event which will be on the weekends of April 16 and 23, 2023.

Immediately after sharing the announcement on social media, many users took to the reply section to express their excitement as it's been nearly six years since Björk performed at Coachella, where she headlined along with other legendary acts like Rage Against The Machine and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

"Oh how I wish I could be a part of that experience!" one wrote.

"OMG congrats gurl! Your show and aesthetic as an artist is completely amazing and Unique!" one wrote.

Coachella 2023 Official Lineup

Björk's recent announcement comes after Coachella finally announced their highly-anticipated headliners and lineup for this year's edition.

According to Billboard, the festival's two-weekend shows will feature headlining acts by Frank Ocean, Bad Bunny, and BLACKPINK, who's making history for being the first-ever K-Pop act to perform at the event.

Last year, fans were given a treat after a star-studded line of headliners performed like Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, and The Weeknd.

For this year, other performers include, Gorillaz, Rosalía, Kali Uchis, Fisher, Charli XCX, Becky G, Metro Boomin, MUNA, Ashnikko, Soul Glo, Lava La Rue, Sasha Alex Sloan, 1999.ODDS, Christine and the Queens, Mura Masa, Yaeji, Shenseea, Kenny Beats, Flo Milli, Keinemusik, and many more.

Calvin Harris serves as this year's "Returning to the Desert" act, which was the same set that Swedish House Mafia got last year.

Aside from talented musicians, large-scale art installations will also be showcased at the event by artists Güvenç Üzel, Maggie West, Kumkum Fernando, Do LaB, Vincent Leroy, Raices Cultura, Robert Bose, NEW SUBSTANCE.
