Kelly Clarkson could relocate to New York City, and this is because of a terrifying reason.

The Kelly Clarkson Show may relocate to the east coast, including New Jersey and Connecticut, as Variety originally reported.

The midday program was renewed in 2025, and since then, and its debut in 2019, it has been recorded in Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

It has been renewed for a sixth season and is now in its fourth. The program will complete its current season on the Universal property before making a dramatic transfer for the start of a fifth season next autumn.

However, it has been widely rumored that the "Since U Been Gone" hitmaker had a terrifying stalker scenario, which may have been the primary factor in her decision to leave California and move to New York.

According to reports, a 56-year-old lady has been following Kelly and has disobeyed a court-issued restraining order requiring her to keep 100 yards away from her Toluca Lake, Los Angeles, home.

The Emmy Award-winning anchor wants to leave Hollywood after CCTV footage purportedly captured the stalker in an SUV slowly driving past four times. In order to avoid the stalker, the relocation was made.

A source for Radar Online revealed that the mother of two started the chat because the stalker kept coming back to her residence. After all, River, age 8, and Remington, age 6, are her two children, and they come first.

The insider further said, "She feels unsafe with a stalker on the loose and is having sleepless nights over her children's safety, too. She has temporarily fled the property and is staying in a secret location."

After visiting the "American Idol" alum's house 18 times in all, a court issued the lady an order of protection last month. Unwanted presents were dropped at her door by the stalker.

Kelly has unfortunately not been the only person who has had a trespasser enter her home.

Another stalker was obtained a temporary restraining order for against a man who showed up at Kelly's house without permission three times.

He allegedly made contact with the singer-turned-host by peeping through her fence and even photographing a vehicle in which Kelly's children were traveling in.

According to the source, the Los Angeles Police are exerting great effort to keep the "Stronger" singer safe and have been routinely inspecting her residence.

However, violence is now rife in Hollywood's star residences, and locals are being robbed on the streets.

Although Kelly Clarkson apparently despises the traffic in Los Angeles and finds "people" to be "flaky," the relocation may be advantageous for her.

She reportedly believes that raising her children in New York might be more beneficial and feasible.
