BTS Jimin is gearing to mark his solo debut with a solo album soon.

ARMYs were left disheartened recently after BTS suffered another snub at the 2023 Grammys. For three consecutive years, the K-pop supergroup scored nominations at the award ceremony but has not brought home a trophy.

With or without a Grammy, BTS pledged to continue making music for fans. In fact, Jimin will be the next member to give them a solo album.

The "Lie" singer recently held a live stream on BTS' WeVerse account. During a discussion, Jimin revealed that his debut solo album is tentatively scheduled for release in March.

However, he did not unveil further details about his solo album, including the title.

"I'm currently preparing lots of things that I can do together with you guys around that time," he said. "I'm planning lots of different kinds of things we can do to have fun together and enjoy ourselves, so I think you can safely look forward to it."

BTS Jimin's solo debut news came after Sports DongA first reported about it in January. The publication said the idol started preparing for it after his collaboration with BIGBANG member, Taeyang.

It was initially scheduled for a February release, according to the news outlet. But BIGHIT MUSIC said BTS Jimin's solo album release date was yet to be finalized.

With his upcoming project, Jimin would be the fourth BTS member to have a solo debut. He follows J-Hope, Jin, and RM, with the latter as the most recent soloist with "Indigo."

BTS Jimin To Work With International Artists?

Although details about his solo album are yet to be confirmed, ARMYs have been speculating that he would work with famous music artists for his solo endeavors.

Jimin was frequently seen working in a studio with producers and artists. DJ and producer Hudson Mohawke was also spotted in a photo with HYBE's in-house producers Ghostloop and Pdogg.

The idol also met several artists, including singer-songwriter Gabriel Brandes, recording artist Taylor Hill, producer Steven Franks, singer-songwriter Alex Karlsson, and Tommy Brown.

So far, he has already three solo tracks with BTS before his solo debut. He dropped "Lie" in 2016. Jimin then released "Serendipity" and "Filter" in 2017 and 2020, respectively.

While waiting for his turn to mark a solo debut, Jimin also worked on the song "With You" for the hit tvN drama, "Our Blues."
