Camila Cabello is forging her own path these days.

The 26-year-old singer has been associated with various names since the start of her music career back in 2012, like Fifth Harmony and Shawn Mendes.

However, as of late, it seems like she just wants to be known as herself-so much so that even going on a date with Chris Evans doesn't sound so appealing to her.

According to reports, during an interview with Jimmy Fallon, the "Captain America" star revealed that he has a crush on Cabello.

"Camila Cabello, absolutely, if I could have a date with her, I would have it with a great pleasure," Evans said.

While most women would have dropped everything they were doing and rushed to his side, the singer turned down his proposal for a date.

"He is a very handsome guy, and I admire him. But he is not my type of man," she remarked.

But what is Cabello's type of man? No one is for certain, but her most recent ex is Austin Kevitch.

Entertainment Tonight reported that the pair dated for eight months before finally calling it quits.

"Camila and Austin broke up," a source revealed, and noted that "there's no bad blood between them."

Apparently, they are just super busy with their own schedules, as Kevitch is a co-founder of the dating app Lox Club, while the singer is now engaged in various projects.

Booked and Busy

According to Billboard, the singer is adding a new movie under her belt as she joined the cast of the upcoming drama "Rob Peace."

She will be starring alongside hip-hop legend Mary J. Blige, Jay Will, and Chiwetel Ejiofor-who also happens to be the movie's writer and director.

The movie was inspired by the biography "The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace: A Brilliant Young Man Who Left Newark for the Ivy League," released in 2014; according to reports, the singer will portray Robert Peace's classmate.

This is not the first time Cabello has starred in a feature film, in fact, it will be her second.

She portrayed Cinderella in the 2021 version of "Cinderella," directed by Kay Cannon.

This is another project lined up that will increase her reported net worth of $20 million.

As of this writing, there isn't much news on whether Cabello has plans of releasing new music any time soon, perhaps she is instead slowly working on her acting career.
