Young Thug's high-profile RICO YSL trial has been very eventful, even though the actual hearing has not started yet.

One of the jurors was even sent to jail after making the wrong move of recording the jury selection process.

Young Thug Trial Update

The actual Young Thug Trial about the rapper allegedly conspiring to violate the RICO Act of Atlanta has not yet started, but the drama and the unforeseen events surrounding the trial have been on a roll.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that one of the prospective jurors, namely Juror 1001, was revealed to have captured the court proceeding using her smartphone.

The 21-year-old woman's cellphone was investigated on Apr. 3, 2023. Upon checking, a video of the court proceeding was seen on the woman's Recently-Deleted folder, sending Judge Ural Glanville furious.

According to the juror, she did not know that capturing a video of the court proceeding was unlawful. Glanville pointed out that he had provided guidelines initially; he even said that the juror might have compromised the entire trial with her actions.

Because of this, Glanville gave her a three-day jail sentence. However, after apologizing, Glanville freed the woman and gave her a stern warning. He even told the juror that he would attempt to assign her to a different case in the coming months.
