Saliva guitarist Wayne Swinny recorded one last album with the band before his death, and it would be released soon amid the 2023 tour.

The original members, except Swinny, left the band in the past years, leaving the late guitarist as the only active founding member until his death.

Saliva completed the upcoming album, which had been in the works in the past three years.

Aside from Swinny's last album, Saliva will reportedly continue its summer tour plans in honor of the guitarist's memory. A part of the proceeds from each concert will be given to his daughter on top of the GoFundMe page it created to support Swinny's bereaved family.

Wayne Swinny's Cause of Death

Saliva lost the last active founding member when he passed away on March 22 due to a brain hemorrhage amid the band's tour. He was 59.

The band, per Variety, revealed that Swinny was admitted to the ICU after being discovered "in medical distress" on March 21. A few hours later, the doctors declared his passing.

Swinny was still able to perform at Saliva's Brooklyn Bowl show on March 20.

Before his death, Swinny was able to release 11 albums with the band, making him the only founding member to be featured in all albums since its establishment in 1996. Among the band's biggest classic hits include "Ladies and Gentleman," "Survival of the Sickest," "Click Click Boom," and "Your Disease."
