Ozzy Osbourne wants to continue performing despite his health issues.

The Prince of Darkness made a tough decision when he announced his retirement from touring due to his health setbacks in the past few years. He noted in his statement on Twitter at that time that his body had gotten physically weak after undergoing treatments and operations.

But no one can stop Osbourne if he wants to tour again.

Ozzy Osbourne Wants To Do More Shows

Osbourne surprised his fans when he revealed his scheduled three-day Power Trip concert months after announcing his touring retirement. The October event will also feature Tool, Metallica, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, and Guns N' Roses.

Ahead of the show, the Black Sabbath rocker sat for an interview with Tenacious D's Jack Black and Kyle Gass for the new issue of Metal Hammer during which he told the interviewers he never wants to retire.

The 74-year-old "Close My Eyes Forever" singer said doing a live show is what he lives for.

"I've had to cancel my European tour, but I'm determined. I've gotta do more gigs [even] if I have to get someone to wheel me out there. I mean, you can't retire from this game," he said. "It's not a job, it's a f**king passion. I don't know how to do anything else."

Osbourne noted he has been doing it in the music industry for 55 years, and he called it the "best thing" that ever happened to him.

Deciding on his upcoming appearance came after he revealed during an episode of SiriusXM's "Ozzy Speaks" that his wife, Sharon, told him that he should not keep booking tours and canceling them in the end.

Ozzy Osbourne Says It's Important To Perform for Fans

The "Children of the Grave" hitmaker further supported his plans by saying it is important for him to perform for his fans regardless of whether it is a good or bad gig.

The rocker recalled his Nassau Coliseum performance when he struggled with his voice. Despite the health issue, he opted to show up and sing. In return, the crowd gave him a standing ovation.

Although he announced his touring retirement, Osbourne has always been keeping his doors open when he revealed that his team started coming up with ideas to let him perform without pushing him to travel from one place to another.
