With a final score of 583 points, Loreen made history as the first woman who won the Eurovision Song Contest twice! Thanks to her new song "Tattoo," Sweden is finally tied with Ireland as the country with the most wins in history with seven acts!

The electro-pop song "Tattoo" catapulted her to the top, as other acts like the United Kingdom, Germany, and even France placed at a disappointing finish this year.

Eurovision 2023: Sweden's Loreen

Held in Liverpool, United Kingdom, Eurovision 2023 took place in the said country after Ukraine, still in conflict with Russia, withheld its hosting duties this year and turned it over to the United Kingdom which placed second last year with Sam Ryder.

Loreen, one of the many frontrunners on the Eurovision 2023, has already been a winner before!

She won Eurovision 2012 with her song "Euphoria," which was held in Baku, Azerbaijan. Speaking about her triumphant and historic win, Loreen had this to say:

"The only thing I feel right now is so much love. Not in my wildest dreams did I think this was going to happen."

Her win puts Sweden as one of the two countries with the most win in the song contest's 67 years. Ireland also won seven times but they failed to qualify this year. Notably, ABBA's "Waterloo" competed and won in 1974.

Interestingly, the first artist and first man to win Eurovision twice came from Ireland, Johnny Logan - winning seven years apart, 1980 and 1987.
