A new musical game show is in town and it will feature Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corrine in the new FOX Channel offering. The announcement came days after Foxx was revealed to have been out of the hospital already and was already recuperating after a "medical emergency."
Fans have been worried about Jamie Foxx's health condition as he was kept in the hospital for more than a month without the public knowing why.
Jamie Foxx New Game Show 'We Are Family'
According to People Magazine, Jamie Foxx and his daughter, Corrine, will be heading a new musical game show called "We Are Family."
It was likened to shows like "Beat Shazam," a music game show initially hosted by Foxx and is now hosted by Nick Cannon.
Per the release, "We Are Family" will be a music guessing game that will feature a celebrity per episode along with their non-famous family member. Basically, a fusion of "The Masked Singer" and "Beat Shazam," as the celebrity's identity will be hidden until it can be guessed.
Clues will be given throughout the game to identify the celebrity. Once correctly guessed, $100,000 will be up for grabs by a lucky studio audience whose main job is to determine who the guest star is.

In an Instagram post, Corrine was delighted to share the news. Check out her post below:
"We are thrilled to be developing We Are Family with Jeff Apploff and our friends at FOX Entertainment after so much success with six seasons of Beat Shazam. We hope this show brings as much fun to audiences at home as we've had creating it when it premieres next year," the Foxx father and daughter tandem said in a joint statement as quoted by People Magazine.
'Beat Shazam' Season 6
Nick Cannon, a dear friend of Foxx, wished him a speedy recovery earlier this month given his recent health predicament.
While wishing him well, Cannon teased that he'll be doing the movie star something special and a favor.
Turns out, Cannon was tapped to guest host "Beat Shazam" Season 6 as Foxx was recently discharged from the Georgia Medical facility he was rushed into. Kelly Osbourne will be the guest DJ this season too.
