Unfoonk, a YSL artist and Young Thug's biological brother, is currently in jail after breaking the terms of the probation he was given as part of a Georgia RICO plea agreement.

Unfoonk's probation was officially revoked by the Fulton County judge on Monday, and he also received a 9 years and 6 months jail sentence after being found guilty of, among other things, possessing a pistol while on probation.

Unfoonk received a reprimand from Judge Ural D. Glanville at the sentence, reminding the Atlanta rapper of their conversation from May regarding the stringent terms of his probation, particularly when it came to owning a pistol! In the ongoing YSL RICO trial back in December, Unfoonk (born Quantavious Grier) accepted a plea deal in which he received credit for 2 years of time served and was sentenced to ten years of probation.

Around the same time as Unfoonk, Gunna also entered a plea, but it appears he has been using his freedom to record in the studio. Last week, he released a return track.

Unfoonk is the brother of Young Thug, but he is also a recording artist that wants to speak for the streets. After serving 11 years in prison, the rising artist discovered music to be his passion, transforming his life for the better. His breakthrough track "Mob Ties," starring 24Heavy and Slimelife, has amassed over 3.8 million views on YouTube.

Thugger, who had previously been facing a life sentence, assisted his brother in getting his freedom back and then signed him to his Young Stoner Life Records imprint. Unfoonk later made two notable appearances on the compilation album Slime Language 2 from the label, on the songs "Real" starring Young Thug and "Mob Ties" remix with Future and YTB Trench.

Unfoonk most recently released his much awaited mixtape My Struggle, in which he told his experience and motivated the public with his distinctive raspy voice. Future's feature on the lead single "Running Out of Patience" is the centerpiece of the 12-track album, which also includes features from G Herbo, Gunna, and Lil Keed.

Charges against Quantavious Grier, better known by his rap name Unfoonk, include unlawful for a person employed by or linked with a criminal street gang and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
