It appears that the brief romance between Avril Lavigne and Tyga has come to an end.
Recent reports suggest Avril Lavigne, 38, and Tyga, 33, have gone their separate ways.
TMZ has reported that the musical pair ended their relationship in recent weeks.
The details of why they chose to break up remain unclear; however, an inside source did confirm it was agreed upon by both parties with plans to stay on good terms.
The talk of a budding romance between the two began in February 2023 when Avril and Tyga were seen having dinner at Nobu in Los Angeles.
Their relationship was seemingly confirmed when photos emerged of them kissing at a Paris Fashion Week event, according to Page Six.
In the weeks following, Tyga and the "Sk8er Boi" singer turned heads when they attended Kyrie Irving's birthday celebration in Hollywood.
The pair were seen walking hand in hand to the event.
As a sign of their growing bond, Avril posted a picture on her Instagram featuring them embracing during her Love Sux European tour's last performance.
Ultimately, however, it was short-lived as their love story eventually just "ran its course," a source revealed to TMZ.
Previous to this, Avril Lavingne was engaged to rapper Mod Sun.

At the time, it was confirmed that she and Mod Sun had split after being together for two months.
As relayed by the source, there had been no involvement from third parties in the breakup. Subsequently, Mod Sun issued an Instagram post to address their separation.
In a heartbreaking social media post, he said, "In one week my entire life completely changed... I just know there's a plan for it all. I'll keep my head up and always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken."
When the news first broke, a PEOPLE magazine source asserted that there was no romantic connection between Avril and Tyga on their evening out to Nobu before it being announced that Avril and Mod Sun had split.
Avril has been married twice in her life, and both of her ex-husbands remain close friends with the singer.
Her most recent relationship was with Mod Sun. However, she was also previously wed to Chad Kroeger of Nickelback from 2013-2015.
