Troye Sivan quipped how dangerous it is for anyone to have a crush on a K-pop star after he confessed his admiration for Stray Kids' Hyunjin.

Troye Sivan "Almost Got Murdered" After Confession For Stray Kids Hyunjin

Weeks after he posted a video about the "God's Menu" hitmaker, Sivan took to TikTok again to explain that he regretted the confession as he jokingly quipped how it almost led to his demise.

"That's the last time I publicly crush on a K-Pop star," the text on his selfie video showed while his upcoming single, "Rush," played in the background. "I almost got murdered."

Although the "Angel Baby" singer joked about getting murdered after crushing on Stray Kids Hyunjin, some fans also informed him that the K-pop star is his fan as he performed his songs during trainee evaluations before his official debut, including "Youth."

The duo also got the chance to meet in person when they attended a Versace fashion show in May and snapped a picture together.

Troye Sivan Is Friends With Several K-pop Stars

Sivan may have set his eyes on Stray Kids Hyunjin, but the singer established friendships with other K-pop stars over the past few years.

After his meeting with Hyunjin at the Dua Lipa x Versace's "La Vacanza" 2023 Fashion Show, he was spotted with NCT Jaehyun at the Prada SS24 Menswear Show. He previously expressed his desire to collaborate with BTS, as well, until he officially made his dream come true when he worked on the "Louder than Bombs" track of the group's "Map Of The Soul: 7" album.

Sivan also got the chance to interact with other K-pop stars, including (G)I-DLE Minnie and BLACKPINK Rosé and Jennie.

While he gushes over Stray Kids Hyunjin, Sivan is also busy preparing ahead of the release of his first full-length album in five years and his appearance in the series, "The Idol."
