Jamie Foxx is still keeping himself out of the limelight while fans are wondering what his mystery illness is and how he is faring amidst "reports" of recovery. Since he is not out and about, some fans are even wondering if he's truly okay. Moreover, while he is recovering at a Chicago facility, his sprawling California mansion is undergoing renovations and this raises a lot of questions as to why.
Does this mean he is okay, so much so that he is making big decisions? Does this mean his situation is improving and he'll be back home soon if he has not been here all this time? Could it possibly be renovations meant to make the property more marketable in the long run so he can dispose of it asap?!
Pictures taken from the residence showed that work is going on at the property, so at least the actor is not keeping all under wraps. Unfortunately, the actor's health remains largely unknown.
It has now been over two months since Foxx suffered a health crisis.
Athough he was reported to be recovering, a recent insider report claimed Foxx "still isn't himself" despite receiving the "best of care." For what disease, no one even knows!
According to Page Six, Foxx's Mediterranean-style California mansion is currently undergoing renovations while it is not clear whether actor is placed at a private facility for his recovery or staying in his mansion all this time. Given his radio silence, nothing is just clear right at the moment.

The sprawling property is valued at a whopping $10.5 and consists of a living room, multiple bedrooms and baths, as well as a dining area, gym, kitchen, library, game room, recording studio.. not to mention, a huge garage that can fit five cars. The abode also has areas for outdoor sports activities, including a basketball court, tennis courts and an Olympic-size swimming pool.
Photos obtained from the magazine served as visual evidence of the ongoing renovations being carried out at the sprawling, 17,000-square-foot residence. One of the photoss revealed a dumpster full of discarded building materials in the mansion's backyard.
In another image, fans can see the craftsmen's equipment, including a ladder and a work table, apart from stacks of wooden panels.
The magazine itself said it is vague what this renovation really means. The nicest possibility is of course, these changes are being made in preparation for Foxx's return or to make his recovery faster.
Maybe having a renovated home will make Foxx return to his old self faster.
It can be recalled how just a few days ago, when news are ripe about the actor and singer's recovery, one insider said there is no reason to rejoice yet as the star "still isn't himself" despite having received the "best care" since his health crisis in April.
The exact details of the health crisis that has afflicted Foxx remain uncertain as his family made sure everything will be kept private and under the wraps.
The actor himself get off social media throughout, only returning briefly in April to thank fans and well-wishers for their prayers, which made the fans elated to find out he's already okay. Unfortunately, that was his last update up until June, wherein he only announced the release of his film They Cloned Tyrone and said nothing of his condition.
