Beyoncé is currently touring around the world for her "Renaissance World Tour" and it appears that she's not only entertaining fans but also helping the economy of the cities she visited; this is what exactly happened after she performed in Chicago, Illinois.

According to Uproxx, the musician performed at Soldier Field on July 22 and 23. Her two nights in the city made a big economical impact as the statistics reveal that hotels and travel accommodation went up to 20%. Regarding the shopping, it reached over 17%, while restaurants and food vendors had 14%. Lastly, beauty services also had a spike of 5%.

A news presenter discussed the recent economical change in the city on Fox 32 Chicago.

"It isn't just fans basking in the glow of Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour, Yelp Data shows hotels, restaurants, shops, beauty salons all saw a huge spike as well, especially Black-owned businesses," the anchor noted.

Aside from the statistics mentioned above, there are also more businesses that had more clients due to Queen Bey's concerts in the city like nail salons, eyebrow services, men's hair salons, beauty and spa treatments, and many more.

Beyoncé Also Had an Economical Impact in Stockholm, Sweden

This wasn't the first time Beyoncé had a big impact on a certain location's economy as she also did it in Sweden after her performance.

In early reports, the singer made a big impact on inflation due to her concerts in Stockholm. It was reported that there was a 0.3% rise from April to May. (via Politico)

One of the main reasons why the economy went up was because of a "broad set of goods and services." Ticket purchases were also a big factor.

However, despite the impact, it was reported that large concerts and massive sports event really cause an economical rise in a certain city, but this won't affect the economy in the long run.

Beyoncé's "Renaissance World Tour" kicked off in Stocklhom, Sweden in May. This is her first concert in over seven years.
