Ariana Grande has been accused of being a serial cheater and a homewrecker earlier this week, however, despite all the bad press surrounding her, the singer has gained more followers than she has lost.
According to Pop Tingz, the "Positions" singer got over 500,000 more Instagram followers than she did before the news of her breakup with Dalton Gomez and her new relationship with "Wicked" costar Ethan Slater broke out.
Fans and netizens were surprised, given Grande has not really been seen in a favorable view in the past few days.
"That's a weird reason to suddenly follow her," one wrote.
"The homewreckers followed her," another added.
"Bad publicity is good publicity."
"Weird [to be honest," and another replied, "definitely, No morals or empathy these days."
Ariana Grande Cheater Turned Homewrecker
Just days after the news of her breakup with her husband went public, Grande has already reportedly moved on with Slater.
Slater is still legally married to his wife, with a newborn baby, but the couple had allegedly already broken up.
This, however, is refuted by Slater's wife, Lilly Jay. "[Ariana's] the story really. Not a girl's girl. My family is just collateral damage," she told Page Six.
An insider reported that Grande and Slater had been flaunting their relationship on the set of "Wicked."
"Ariana and Ethan weren't careful," the source said. "They'd hold hands on set in between takes. They were sloppy and not hiding it."

Ariana Grande, Ethan Slater Had an Affair?
According to reports, the "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" singer and Slater "connected as friends first because they have a lot in common and many similar interests."
The source claims that the pair did not start dating until both of them had broken things off with their respective significant others.
Jay, on the other hand, claims that she "watched with horror" as she saw her marriage go down the drain in front of the entire world.
"I ask to be left alone to rebuild my life and raise the beautiful boy I gave birth to last year," Jay eventually added after speaking out about her husband's alleged infidelity.
As of this writing, neither Grande nor Slater has addressed the cheating rumors, and it seems like their relationship is going full steam ahead.
