Travis Scott's "UTOPIA" is now the biggest hip-hop album of 2023. With a highly-anticipated release and high-caliber collaborations, it was indeed a huge comeback for the embattled artist.
Speaking of powerhouse collaborations, the "Sicko Mode" rapper was helped by Brad Pitt in producing the smash album.
Brad Pitt Helped Travis Scott 'UTOPIA'
According to Entertainment Tonight, Brad Pitt played a role in the creation of Travis Scott's new album. This was because Scott recorded "Utopia" in Pitt's home.
Specifically, it was recorded on the famed Miraval Studios on Brad Pitt's 2,200 acre Château Miraval in the South of France.
Legends Inc confirmed the longstanding question that some of Scott's fans have been asking.
"Miraval recording studio in the South of France owned by Brad Pitt. This is where Travis Scott recorded his latest album 'Utopia', on the site of a winery and chateau," the post said.
Back then, it was already hinted that Scott have been recording in the said area. Miraval Studios shared in a post on Jul. 30, 2023, referring to the rapper "making history" in the studio. He responded to the comments by saying that he misses the house.
Weeks prior to that Scott also posted a video snippet of him recording from the famed Miraval Studios.
"UTOPIA" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, featuring collaborations with Beyonce, Bad Bunny, Kid Cudi, SZA, and Drake, among many others.

Miraval Studios Explored
Apparently, before it was bought by Pitt, the studio was already a legendary one.
It was founded in 1977 by French composer Jacques Louisser, as Billboard reported. Soon enough, several other artists have frequented it, including Sade and Pink Floyd.
Billboard also added that the recording studio has been equipped with three editing booths that are for video and sound. A production office and a recording studio were also present, along with an artist salon, a kitchen, two guest suites, and even a 115-foot saltwater pool. It also boasts the view of a picturesque view of the South of France.
Notably, Pitt reopened the music mecca in Italy last 2022 with French producer-engineer Damien Quintard. Miraval Studios was part of Château Miraval, which made several headlines back then. It was purchased by Pitt and ex-wife Angelina Jolie in 2007.
