Snoop Dogg's hottest show over the weekend led to the hospitalization of several attendees, reports revealed.
The rapper met his fans at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion outside of Houston on Saturday amid the high temperature in the area due to the summer season. However, it soon sent people to the med tent after they suffered heat-related issues.
Snoop Dogg's Attendees Suffer Heat-Related Health Issues
USA Today reported that 35 people showed signs of heat-related illness and were sent to the medical tent available at the venue, while more than 10 others were hospitalized due to the same reason.
Montgomery County Hospital District public information officer Misti Willingham issued a statement saying that the area recorded one of the hottest summers in the planet's history over the weekend. The local fire department responded to the area as a precaution after learning that a huge number of patients started to experience the effects of the heat.

In total, the Montgomery County Hospital District's emergency medicine services transported stable 16 adults to nearby hospitals.
"This is a common practice and very effective if done early on," Atascocita Fire Department public information officer Jerry Dilliard said.
Snoop Dogg has not released a statement following the incident, but it followed a similar event that happened during Ed Sheeran's show in Pittsburgh on July 8, during which 17 people were also hospitalized due to the same reason.
Snoop Dogg Remembers Nate Dogg
Amid his tour, the "Drop It Like It's Hot" rapper took his time to remember Nate Dogg - born Nathaniel Dwayne Hale - on what would have been his 54th birthday over a decade after his death.
He shared a photo of the late icon on Instagram as he greeted him. He also performed a song during his High School Reunion Tour with Wiz Khalifa while photos and videos of his late friend were projected in the background.
The "Young, Wild & Free" artist lost his pal, who was 41 at the time of his death, after suffering complications from multiple strokes.
According to The Long Beach Press Telegram, Nate Dogg initially had a stroke in 2007 that left him partially paralyzed. He faced another episode the following year. His death was reportedly unexpected as he showed signs of significant progress prior to his demise.
"We appreciate the enormous outpouring of response from all over the world," his close friend and manager Rod McGrew said. We greatly appreciate that and thank everyone for their prayers and support. We know Nate will be hanging out with his good friends 2Pac and Biggie."
