After bashing him several years back, Olivia Wilde is now singing a different tune, and could not help but sing praises about Justin Bieber.

During her appearance on "SubwayTakes," the "Don't Worry Darling" director referred to Bieber as "the greatest singer on Earth."

Some think that this might be a shade towards her ex-boyfriend, Harry Styles, who also happens to be a singer.

The former couple broke up last November after dating for almost two years, and have reportedly maintained a "close friendship."

The conversation between Wilde and the host, Kareen Rahma, started out innocently enough.

"Good singers shouldn't do karaoke," the director said. "It's not for them. They can go get paid to do that. We in the non-good singing community... pay good money to be able to go and sing... badly."

Olivia Wilde Criticized Justin Bieber

According to reports, before gushing about the "Stay" singer, there was a time when Wilde criticized him online.

"Put your f**king shirt on," she wrote in 2013, which prompted Bieber's fans to attack her online.

The director later explained that her comment was in no way supposed to be a criticism, but it came from a place of concern, noting that London is infamous for its terribly cold temperatures and rainy season.

It is unclear whether Wilde and Bieber have made amends behind the scenes, since there are no reports on that or pictures from either one of them, but it seems like Wilde's opinion of the singer has vastly changed over the years.

Olivia Wilde Takes a Dig at Harry Styles?

According to reports, Wilde and Styles had a very serious relationship for nearly two years before their eventual split late last year.

It was initially just a "break," but it eventually became a full-on break up, especially after the "As It Was" singer was seen kissing Emily Ratajowski.

"I didn't expect this to happen," the model said about the public display of affection. "I think, in general, there's a reason certain celebrities live in [Los Angeles], hire security, don't go to public restaurants. ... So the idea of giving [my freedom] up for the sake of privacy is something I haven't considered yet."

Perhaps it was the final nail to the coffin, after all, a source said that the break was spurred on due to their busy schedules.

"He's still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A.," they said. "It's a very amicable decision."
