Bone Thugs-N-Harmony founding member Krayzie Bone revealed that he spent nine straight days in the hospital when he was confined because of a worrying condition.
The 50-year-old rapper was coughing up blood in late September 2023, leading to his lengthy hospitalization.
Krayzie Bone Health Condition Update
According to an Instagram post he shared on Oct. 4, 2023, Rapper Krayzie Bone, formally known as Anthony Henderson, spent nine days in the hospital after his worrying medical condition needed the doctor's attention.
"Just fought for life "Literally for 9 days straight. And I only won the battle this time because I know Jehovah God was with me every step of the way fighting for me," he wrote in the caption. In the photo, Henderson flashed a peace sign while he was in his hospital bed, injected with fluids but was seemingly okay and in good spirits.
"Never take life for granted enjoy it while have you have it! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers trust me I needed every last one of them," he furthered.
According to HotNewHipHop, Krayzie Bone had a leaking artery in one of his lungs, shortly after having a CT Scan.
At first, doctors were unable to stop the bleeding artery so he was put under sedation.
The Grammy-winning rapper was previously diagnosed with Sarcoidosis, Metro UK reports. It is a rare condition that causes small patches of swollen tissues, which are called granulomas, that develop in the organs of the body.
He was also placed on a ventilator and in an induced coma to help with the healing process of his leaked artery. (via TMZ)

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Asks For Prayers For Krayzie Bone
At the time of uncertainty last week, Henderson's brothers asked everyone for prayers and support.
"In this challenging moment, as the immediate and Bone thugs family rallies behind my brother, we humbly ask for a moment of privacy. Our family is facing the unexpected hospitalization of Krayzie Bone with strength, and your prayers are a beacon of hope. Soon, we'll share an update, but for now, let us come together and keep our love and thoughts focused on his recovery. Your support means the world to us, and we truly appreciate your understanding during this time," rapper Layzie Bones, Steven Howse, said in a statement on Instagram.
Since the latest Krayzie Bone health condition update, fans have showered the rapper with more love and breathed a collective sigh of relief.
"I kept telling my people like "Please let Krayzie pull through." And after seeing this I swear I feel better. Recover and take care Legend," a fan shared.
"I love u so damn much Kray!!! Our God is real and awesome!! He got you!! God please wrap your healing arms around him Im praying so hard!" another commented.
It is not known yet whether Henderson has been discharged from the hospital or is still taking time to recover.
