Justin Bieber, along with several other celebrities, has shared their sentiments and support regarding the ongoing conflict between Palestine and Israel.

The "Baby" singer shared a picture of the ruins in Gaza along with the words "Praying for Israel," which infuriated and disappointed netizens and his own fans.

According to reports, the conflict between Palestine and Israel has been going on for years now but has come to another head over the weekend when the Palestinian Hamas terrorists launched an attack.

Bieber's post was deemed ignorant by netizens, one even wrote: "Justin Bieber posting 'praying for Israel' using a picture of a destroyed Gaza is actually insane."

Apparently, word got around and reached the singer because he deleted the first post, only to upload another with the same words, just with a plain background.

He also added another post, defending his decision to show support for Israel, "To vilianize [sic] all Palestinians or all Israeli people to me seems wrong.

"I'm not interested in choosing sides, but I am interested in standing with the families who have been brutally taken from us."

Justin Bieber Faces Backlash for Instagram Post

Bieber's old and new posts have all gained negative reactions from social media, most especially on X (formerly known as Twitter).

"He's not a good person... like at all... he saw the destruction and did not care..." One wrote.

"Do u even realize how insane this is?? so he found out that those ruins were in Gaza so he deletes it bc muslims and pocs dying bc of Isr*el doesnt matter to him. THIS IS SO FUCKING CRAZY??? LIKE HELLO?? HAVE SOME BASIC HUMAN DECENCY FOR ONCE."

"So the photo he thought was Israel is actually Gaza and he deletes it and makes a post saying "pray for Israel", but not for Gaza. When you saw that destruction you were sad cause it's Israel, but now that you know it's Gaza, you don't care and it's not sad. You're a loser."

Jamie Lee Curtis Also Criticized Over Support Post

Another called the singer out for continuing to support Israel: "Nah this is crazy because he was obviously informed 'this is actually a photo of what Israel did to Gaza' and he... continued to side with Israel."

"This is how you know celebrities don't know what they're talking about and just post because they think it's a "'trend."

Bieber is not the only celebrity to have been called out by netizens for showing their support online. As per reports, Jamie Lee Curtis also received backlash and criticism.

The actress shared a picture taken in Gaza, depicting Palestinian families seeking refuge from air raids, however, she captioned the post "terror from the skies" with an Israel flag emoji.
