After three long years since she parted ways with Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson is reportedly finally starting to dip her toes in the dating pool again.
According to a source who spoke to Star magazine, those close to the TV personality are bursting at the seams to find suitable suitors for her, and she's more than ready to start going out on some dates.
Although taking her time, it's clear that being single forever isn't an option for her. Instead, she is eager to put a smile back on her face and leap into the dating world.
At this time, the 41-year-old has made it clear that she's not after a new romantic partner.
The host of "The Kelly Clarkson Show" said, "Do I have a boyfriend? No! And not looking. You know why? I love being single."
Kelly went on to say, "I have two kids, two dogs, three rabbits, a hamster, multiple jobs - there's a lot going on. And, you know, you think you're going to spend the rest of your life with somebody, and you don't. That's hard to start over."
With a new talk show happening in New York and two children to look after, this mom-of-two has been on a mission of self-improvement since her divorce.
Lately, the "Since U Been Gone" singer has been focused on getting healthy and finding ways to get out of her funk.
Though the source insisted that revenge against Brandon was not at the forefront of her mind, it is clear that it has brought a certain level of contentment to the situation.
"Everyone's reaction to how wonderful she now looks has provided a much-needed boost to her self-esteem," they continued. "She's really enjoying playing around with fashion - no longer does she need to hide her waistline, but instead proudly displays it!"

Admitting that a move to the East Coast was essential, Kelly Clarkson proclaimed her need for it.
The "American Idol" alum, "I love living here, and I'm a Texas girl, so I did not think I was going to love it so much. But you will see this face all the time at the park. I love walking around."
It should be noted, though, that the claims concerning Kelly Clarkson's inner circle being 'itching to set her up' after the Brandon Blackstock divorce has yet to be confirmed. Thus, this report must be taken with caution.
