Sean Martin, popularly known for being the frontman of the Liverpool-based band The Night Cafe, has died suddenly at the young age of 26; what was his cause of death?

The tragic news was confirmed by the band on their official Instagram account wherein they shared a photo of the young singer.

In the caption, the group of musicians revealed that they were "devastated" about the sudden death of their "best friend."

"Words can't describe the pain we are feeling right now, we're still struggling to process it all," adding that they are asking to respect the late singer's family's privacy.

They later noted that Martin was not only their bandmate, but also a childhood best friend to all of them as they were able to cherish memories throughout the years before the group even started their careers.

"We made so many more memories along the way and achieved things we only dreamt of that we will cherish forever," they added.

Sean Martin Cause of Death

As of this writing, neither The Night Cafe nor his family has confirmed the actual cause of death, but it could potentially be related to his health struggles last year.

According to the Daily Mail UK, Martin revealed in 2022 that he was battling a mystery illness and he needed surgery in order to recover from it.

In a previous post shared on Facebook last year, he told his fans that he had been struggling with his health for years and it was a bad time for the group as they had a gig at the time.
