With a solemn expression and downcast eyes, Joe Jonas' ex Sophie Turner joined her gal pals Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid, Brittany Mahomes, and Cara Delevingne for a night out in Manhattan.
The group stopped at several of the city's popular hotspots during their girls' night.Bondst Japanese restaurant was the destination for Taylor, Selena, Brittany, and Sophie that evening.
As the group left, it became apparent that Taylor and Selena were holding hands. However, Sophie appeared to distance herself from her friends as she descended the eatery steps alone.
It was back in September when the papers were filed - the divorce proceedings between Sophie and the Jonas Brothers' member, had been set in motion due to irreconcilable differences.
Not long afterward, images began to surface of Sophie caught up in a passionate embrace with Peregrine Pearson, who had just ended his romantic relationship with a royal heiress.
The Mirror had the chance to interview Judi James, an expert in body language, who commented: "It seemed like Brittany had a special bond with Sophie Turner when they were spotted clasping hands on a night out. This could be interpreted as Taylor's way of caring for her after her divorce."
Although Sophie appeared to be acting more subdued, she trailed behind the first cluster with her gaze cast towards the ground and a more peaceful demeanor. She wished to appear less eager for revelry than her peers.

Judi noted that while Brittany seemed eager to be part of Taylor's girl gang, smiling and posing for the cameras, Sophie appeared more uncomfortable in the limelight. "Her expression implies that while enjoying a fun evening out," said Judi, "Sophie was nevertheless keen to avoid being the focus of attention."
The specialist in nonverbal cues examined Taylor's behavior on this outing and noticed an effort to shield Sophie from friends. "Taylor has taken steps ahead, likely as a means of providing photographers with their desired content while also helping Sophie stay out of too much of a spotlight."
Taylor is said to be attempting to keep her companion as unobtrusive as possible.
After a marriage of four years, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are now headed to a divorce and are negotiating an agreement on shared custody of their daughters.
However, it appears that Sophie is attempting to move past the relationship as she is observed locking lips with the sought-after bachelor Peregrine on a visit to Paris.
