This year's Country Music Association Awards or the CMAs is getting near and before the ceremony begins, let's take a look at one iconic moment in the past where Dolly Parton suffered from a fashion mishap, but she was able to handle it like a pro.
According to Taste of Country, the country legend had a wardrobe malfunction back in 1978 when she was about to go up the stage to accept the Entertainer of the Year award.
Parton previously spoke with People Magazine in 2016 where she looked back at the fashion emergency, saying she wore "such a beautiful dress" but even though it looked good on her, the material of the outfit was "so delicate."
"As tight as I wear my clothes...' - and I was a little hefty then anyway! - I thought, 'I hope this all holds together!'" she said.

By the time the "I Will Always Love You" hitmaker was called the winner for the category, she felt something off with her dress until she discovered that it was coming apart.
"When they called my name, I felt something creeping up my stomach, and I thought, 'Oh My God - my dress is coming apart!'" she added.
Initially, Parton didn't know what to do, but she handled the mishap so well as she was still able to take the stage and receive the major award for that evening.

Her solution to the wardrobe malfunction? She borrowed a fur from Kenny Rogers' wife at the time, Marianne, who sat close to her at the awards show.
Regardless of the incident, she proudly shared her story during her speech, telling the 5,000 live audience members that she hoped that she wouldn't win because she "busted the front" of her gown.
Dolly Parton Loves Dressing Up
Dolly Parton is known for her unique voice in country songs, but in addition to that, the public also loved her for the extravagant fashion she showcased at different events and concerts throughout her decades-long career.
Even though she has a lot of fans, some people told her to tone down the way she dressed, but she has one message for them.
Speaking with Kelleigh Bannen in the series "What Would Dolly Do," she recalled that Chet Atkins previously told her to tone down her fashion sense whenever she goes out in public.
When asked about how she would react, she said: "I'd say, 'Go to hell. I ain't doing it.'"
