Nicki Minaj 'Pink Friday 2' Perfume Launched 2 Weeks Before Album Release

Nicki Minaj is ushering in a new and fragrant era with her "Pink Friday 2" perfumes! The Nicki Minaj perfume was originally set to be sold a week after the album is released on the first Friday of December, but she was surprised when fans had already bought theirs.

Minaj responded to a fan on social media when they asked if she knew that her "Pink Friday 2" perfume had been released already.

User @Yafav_Petty asked Nicki Minaj on Twitter/X if she knew that her "Pink Friday" perfume is being sold already at JC Penney.

"Just a quick question @NICKIMINAJ did you know that JCPenny has been selling Pink Friday 2 perfume I seen it last night I didn't purchase it cause I didn't know if you approved or not," they inquired.

Minaj, gobsmacked with the question, had this to say: "I had no idea. Was informed of nothing. Didn't get a link to post. just woke up one day & boom! saw y'all discussing it. Noreen from my fragrance co advised that she'll be getting back to me w/answers on this right away. Apparently she had no clue either. Go figure."

Some fans also checked their own stores and confirmed that it has been sold already. Many were reluctant at first to buy the product and even sought Minaj's approval if they could buy it already.

"Oh wow. So not only was that link real but it's physically in STORES?!?!!!!! Wow. Well boo, thank you for your support," she shared on social media. " I don't even have the official box ORRR bottle yet. I was told it would be on Amazon 1st & JCPenny following week or2 but maybe plans did the ol switcheroo."

Nicki Minaj 'Pink Friday 2' Perfume Sold-Out

In a follow-up tweet, Minaj shared that there had been a "switcheroo" and she was grateful for the Babrz, her loyal legion of fans, that they had started purchasing the perfume.

Reportedly, the perfume has been sold out in some of the stores and on the JC Penny website. Meanwhile, Minaj assured fans that she would also be announcing when the "Pink Friday 2" perfume will be sold on Amazon.

"just went into JCPenny & asked abt Nicki's new perfume and the lady said people have BEEN calling & asking about it mother is always in demand," a fan said.

Social media personality Trisha Paytas scored her Nicki Minaj "Pink Friday 2" perfume already. In a video, she raved about the perfume and revealed that she hurried as soon as she saw that it was being sold already.

Nicki Minaj's highly-anticipated "Pink Friday 2" album will be released on Dec. 8, 2023.
