Adele has a long list of hit songs which, she thinks, other musicians cannot sing the way she does.

On Thursday, December 7, The Hollywood Reporter released the interview with its latest cover star, where she opened up about her music and the singers who attempt to sing her tracks.

Adele Comments on Artists Who Try To Sing Her Songs

Adele told the media outlet that she thinks she is not the best singer in the world. Still, she believes no one else can sing her songs like her.

"With my music, and for whoever listens to it, I think I'm not the best singer in the world at all, but no one else can sing my songs like me because they didn't write them," she said. "No one can sing my songs like me, period. The lyrics are not their own. And I don't think anyone else should sing my songs."

However, she noted that only Aretha Franklin, who covered her "Rolling in the Depp," is an exception.

Adele clarified that she also cannot sing other's songs, as well, due to the same reason.

Speaking up about her new music, the "Hello" songstress admitted she has not thought about it and her potential collaborations with other artists.

Despite not believing artists can sing her songs the way she does, Adele disclosed that she turns off the radio if her music suddenly plays.

"Rich does, it drives me insane. And it's funny because in my car with my driver, he knows if my song comes on, he has to turn the radio, just turn it off (laughs). I don't like it at all," she went on.

Will Adele Join the Broadway?

Elsewhere in the interview, the media outlet asked Adele about her potential Broadway appearance. While she reportedly has yet to receive an actual offer, she disclosed that she asked Bette Midler about it.

She continued, "I don't love musicals. That's the only issue. With James Corden, because he's one of my really good friends, I surprised him and did "Don't Rain on My Parade" because he loves musicals so much. I'm much more of a Leonard Cohen kind of person."

Adele was also asked about launching her own production company, which she reportedly crossed out of her list because she does not want to work with talent. She declared that instead of building things, she only wanted to work on something and join something.
