Ariana Grande may have signed with Good World Management, but she seemed to be still tied with Scooter Braun Projects.

Grande reportedly inked a deal with new management after her controversial exit from Scooter Braun's management, along with the exodus of other stars.

Ariana Grande Still Paying Scooter Braun

Sources are claiming that despite signing in to new management, Ariana Grande is still obligated to pay and stay with Scooter Braun for years.

"Although Ariana has indeed found new music management, she has not dropped or cut ties with Scooter because she is tied in contractually," insiders told The Daily Mail.

Apparently, Grande is still "contractually bound" to Scooter Braun, despite reportedly parting ways with him because of several long-term contracts in place.

"If Ariana were to release a new album tomorrow, she would still be obligated to pay Scooter in addition to Brandon. Nothing has changed there," the source added.

But this link-up seemed to be not friendly at all as sources claimed that Grande is "doing the best" that she can to split with Braun, as they've insisted that she is "not working with Scooter."

"There are legal proceedings pending over what, if anything, each party is entitled to as a result of the contract ending," a source says.

Ariana Grande New Album Teased, Release Date Still Unknown?

The news of album payments and management fees came on the heels of Grande's continuous teasing of upcoming new music. Grande has been spotted several times with mega songwriter and producer Max Martin in the past few weeks, along with photos and snaps that she had been working non-stop in the studio.

Fans have also grown frustrated with Grande for being mum on the cheating scandal involving her, his rumored current boyfriend Ethan Slater, and his wife, Lilly Jay.

Grande seemed to be on hiatus from filming "Wicked" despite the lifting of the SAG-AFTRA strike, which caused the last 10 days of production of the movie musical to be halted.

Grande plays Glinda in both "Wicked" films opposite Tony-winning actress Cynthia Erivo's Elphaba, Ethan Slater's Boq, and Jonathan Bailey's Fiyero Tigelaar. Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum will be playing Madam Morrible and the Wizard of Oz, respectively.

"Crazy Rich Asians" and "In The Heights" director Jon M. Chu will be directing the movie along with original "Wicked" composer Stephen Schwartz helming the music aspect of the show - new songs will be added too.

"Wicked" will be split into two movies - the first one will be shown in November 2024 and the second one in December 2025.
