• Columbia Journalism Review Names CNN's Don Lemon Worst Reporter of the Year

It's that point in the year when nearly every publication dishes out their "best and worst" lists and it seems that CNN's Don Lemon's reporting has been particularly noteworthy. According to the Columbia Journalism Review, Lemon has been named the worst reporter of 2014. Maybe it's the way that he manages to discredit victims on camera or perhaps it's how Lemon likes to make himself an active part of the stories that he's covering, in the end the result seems to always be the same — people really just don't like this guy.
  • Kelly Osbourne Furious Kathy Griffin Replacing Joan Rivers on 'Fashion Police'

Kelly Osbourne was not exactly best friends with Joan Rivers — in fact, the two actually clashed quite a bit — but that does not mean Osbourne did not have respect for her "Fashion Police" costar. In fact, when she found out that Melissa Rivers has handpicked Kathy Griffin to replace Joan on "Fashion Police," Osbourne made her dissatisfaction abundantly clear to everyone within earshot. According to a report by Radar Online, Osbourne also flipped when she found out what Griffin's starting salary on the show will be. Apparently, it is considerably more than what Osbourne started out with, and that is just one more reason for her to be ticked off. It is not like Griffin and Osbourne have ever seen eye to eye anyway, but these issues are only adding fuel to the fire.
  • LeAnn Rimes Still Trying to Convince Everyone That Eddie Cibrian's Her 'Soulmate'

LeAnn Rimes has been making the media rounds to promote her new Christmas album, but of course the main topic of discussion always ends up being her marriage to Eddie Cibrian. At some point in time, Rimes may choose to simply make peace with the fact that people really do not like them as a couple and get on with her life, but she is not exactly there yet. Remember their reality show on VH1 last summer? The ratings were horrendous and Rimes and Cibrian seemed to think that mocking the press would be their ticket to getting fans back in their back pockets. Obviously, that was an epic fail. So Rimes is back to her more normal approach of praising her husband and hoping that her fans will forget how she has said that she fears he will eventually cheat on her. Remember, these two first hooked up while married to other people and, for whatever reason, it was an indiscretion that fans never accepted. In an interview with Mail on Sunday, Rimes explained: "I was meant to be with Eddie. Fans felt as though I was their daughter or sister making a big mistake when we got together, because they've grown up with me. But we both acted from our hearts and that's impossible to turn around. Trust me, we both tried. Look, I've said 'I'm sorry' and made amends. Eddie is my soulmate — he and I completely get each other. We're opposites — I want to go shopping; he wants to ride dirt bikes — but we bring out the best in each other. Divorce is not an option for us. Obviously, if something horrible happened, I would have to take care of myself, but I don't see that happening."
  • Kate Middleton Suffers Through Remembrance Sunday Beside Camilla Parker-Bowles

Now here is something that we have not seen in a while: an appearance with Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker-Bowles in attendance! Clearly, there is absolutely no love lost between these two, and the awkwardness between them as they solemnly stood together for Remembrance Sunday was palpable. Middleton must be feeling a lot better because otherwise that nasty morning sickness would have been a great excuse to avoid this public appearance. Instead, the duchess pulled out her new Alexander McQueen coat, put on her hat and suffered through the event beside her enemy. The rivalry between Middleton and Parker-Bowles is epic and it is basically because Prince William's wife is everything Parker-Bowles will never be. While Middleton was born a commoner, she has been easily accepted into the royal family, but Parker-Bowles's 30-year fling with Prince Charles sat so badly with Queen Elizabeth that even after they finally married her presence is something still barely tolerated by the royals.
  • Kelly Ripa Could Care Less if Daughter Lola Hates Her Parenting Style

So many times celebrities's children seem to be handed everything, and that leaves them fairly out of touch with the real world. Being born into privilege is not necessarily a good thing, and in spite of raking in millions Kelly Ripa is determined to raise her kids in a way that is similar to her own upbringing. While sitting for an interview with Wendy Williams this week, Ripa talked about how she believes that if her 13-year old daughter Lola does not like her, then she is probably doing something right. Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, have a rule about study time that includes no phone being nearby. Lola recently broke this rule and as a result lost not only her phone, but her computer as well. Of her parenting style, Ripa explained, according to "Mail Online": "We are like very fair parents and we will give you certain freedoms. When you want privacy in a not-private world — like, you can't have privacy and be on Instagram. I'm sorry, that's not how it works. Privacy is for if you want to write a letter or write in your journal, I'm not going to read that. But if you want to tweet about what a pain in the butt your mom is, I'm gonna see that. No, I don't think she likes me, but I don't care. I'm like, 'I'm not your friend, I'm your mom. I'm not your friend.'"
