It has been a little while since we have heard anything about Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi. It seemed like this couple spent the majority of last year dealing with all sorts of rumors. Supposedly De Rossi spent a month in rehab and we heard about everything from an impending divorce to the possibility of having a baby. Obviously, none of things ever materialized and instead De Rossi returned to television. We're now hearing that DeGeneres' talk show contract is up and her wife is really pushing her to pull the plug on it rather than sign on to do more shows. -
Ellen DeGeneres-Produced Docuseries 'First Dates' Is Coming to NBC
NBC has been hoping to develop a successful dating franchise to add to its' lineup for a few years now and it looks like they are now ready to throw their network weight behind First Dates. Ellen DeGeneres is slated to produce the docuseries that will begin filming later this summer in Chicago. So far, an air date for the reality-based series has not been announced.
