Many expected an Odd Future reunion at their festival Camp Flog Gnaw last weekend. Perhaps this was because the group had been broken up for almost half a year, or because Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA) was advertised as the headline act, but it seemed many were disappointed when only Mike G, Domo Genesis, Left Brain and Hodgy Beats took the stage for a 70-minute set. The set was then pre-empted by a profanity-laced speech delivered by Tyler the Creator onstage. -

Over the past few days, speculation has been wild about the future of hip-hop collective Odd Future, which counts Frank Ocean, Tyler, The Creator, Hodgy Beats and Earl Sweatshirt among its members. Observers have known that the group has been growing apart over the past few years as the members have focused on their burgeoning solo careers, but according to a response to a fan on social media network Spring from Tyler, the group is officially broken up. -

Amidst the rumors and speculation about the Odd Future's current status as a collective, one of its more prominent members, Hodgy Beats, real name Gerard Damien Long, has decided to stay out of the drama and stick to what people care about most - music. The rapper "Alone" rapper has used his testing ground, soundcloud to share three brand new tracks titled "NOHOOK," "THANKKSGIVING" and "Choppedd."
