Fans of the rebooted version of Dallas that has aired on TNT for the last season are not going to be happy with the powers-that-be who decided that the show will not be returning for a fourth season. The show was originally painted as a continuation of the long-running nighttime soap that ran on CBS for 14 seasons. In addition to introducing viewers' to new characters the network also tapped into Dallas' rich family history and brought back Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray to reprise their original characters. While the reboot never reached the same level of success as the original, it held its own in the ratings, raking in an average of 4.5 million viewers during season one.
