  • Selena Gomez, Zedd Collab, Possibly Titled "I Want You to Know," Could Be Released in February

Even though neither artist were nominated for a Grammy this year, Zedd and Selena Gomez found their way into the news once again. Ryan Tedder was approached by "Billboard" outside the Clive Davis Grammy 2015 pre-party Feb. 7 and asked about what he was working on. He revealed that he was part of the oft-discussed Selena Gomez and Zedd collaboration and that the track, possibly titled "I Want You to Know," was finished and could be released in February.
  • Nick Jonas Chooses Between Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez & Demi Lovato in Awkward New Interview

Things got a little awkward today (Jan. 12) over at Capital FM in the U.K. Former Disney star and current heartthrob Nick Jonas was in the studio to promote his self-titled solo album and hit single "Jealous" and then things got weird when the radio host threw some ex-girlfriends in the mix. In a play on a classic sleepover game, Jonas was asked to choose between Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato in a game of "Wife, Lips, Leave."
  • Selena Gomez & Zedd Reportedly In The Studio

In December we reported that Selena Gomez and Zedd had appeared in a studio together, but it was not clear if anything was to come of it. Now it seems as though some magic is being created by the two bonafide pop stars. According to Idolator, Selena Gomez posted a now deleted photo on her Instagram (probably at the request of her team), of her in the studio with caption "Studio flow tho @zedd." The photo was quickly taken down after she posted it. However to piggyback on that photo, Zedd posted one of his own of Gomez blowing a kiss to a bobble head with the caption "@selenagomez likes Johnny from "The Room"... a lot!"
  • Selena Gomez Criticized for Showing Ankle in Mosque on Trip to Abu Dhabi

Selena Gomez showed off her ankle in a mosque during her recent trip to Abu Dhabi, which has led to some criticism from the Muslim community. Cody Simpson and Kendall Jenner were on hand with the rest of Gomez's entourage. They were seen laughing and smiling in another picture posted to Instagram. It is considered a sign of disrespect by Muslims to show off a bare ankle and laugh or smile in a mosque, "Billboard" notes. Gomez deleted the picture of her exposed ankle, but the group shot is still on Instagram. It was taken at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Check it out below. The photos have sparked a conversation on respecting beliefs and insensitivity toward other cultures. "Yeah I'm Muslim, and selena I love you so much but you may want to open your wrists at the mosque," one comment reads. "Photos interesting. I'm Muslim and I respect every religion. After saw this photo I feel so bad. Everyone has their own religious if not everyone is obliged to respect your religion. I'm Muslim and I respect christian to otherwise you're ignorant and disrespectful!!" Gomez and her camp have yet to respond to the photos.
  • Are Selena Gomez, Zedd Making Music?

Selena Gomez confirmed earlier in the week that she was in the studio recording the follow-up to her 2014 greatest hits album "For You." The "The Heart Wants What It Wants" singer wrote she would be recording for the next four months, even in hotel rooms, via "Billboard." The former Disney star posted a few more pictures on her Instagram of her in the studio with various producers and songwriters, including German hit producer Zedd. Though the post is not definitive for a collaboration, it shows them meeting in a studio. This could have just been a chance encounter in a Los Angeles studio, but with Selena Gomez recording a new album right now, it would make sense for these two hit makers to create something together.
  • Taylor Swift "Blank Space" Crowns Hot 100: Selena Gomez "The Heart Wants What It Wants" & Mark Ronson "Uptown Funk" Crack Top 10

Be assured, there is no "Blank Space" available at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. For the third week in a row, Taylor Swift's new single from 1989 tops the charts. While she sits snuggly atop the U.S. music radar, two new songs have cracked the top 10, with Selena Gomez's "The Heart Wants What It Wants" and Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk" (feat. Bruno Mars) vaulting up the charts.
