    CRSSD Festival has unveiled the 2016 lineup and it is stacked. Entering its second year, the California-based electronic music festival has tabbed some of the most highly touted names in electronic music like Odesza, Tale of Us, Gesaffelstein, Loco Dice, Claude VonStroke, Hot Since 82, Chet Faker and the techno moniker of Eric Prydz, Cirez D.
  • Tycho Announces 'Awake' Remix Album With RJD2, Baio, US Tour

    Tycho has unveiled the release date and tracklist for a brand new remix album for his 2014 LP Awake, which will include reworks from the likes of Com Truise, RJD2, Vampire Weekend's Baio and others. He is also plotting a new tour across the United States to kick off the year in February, taking the act indoors for some intimate club shows across America.

    Though it is still 2015, 2016 festival season is already raring its head with lineup announcements and ticket sales as things start to get earlier and earlier each year. In April a motley crew of artists will descend on Austin, Texas for Euphoria Music & Camping Festival for a four-day bonanza of music and outdoor activities. Among those who will headline the lineup include Juicy J, Bassnectar, Tycho, Dillon Francis, STS9 and GRiZ.

    Ben Hansen, better known as Tycho, is not known for his remix work, but the American ambient electronic artist has unveiled a brand new remix of a rather unusual suspect. The Awake producer has remixed Death Cab For Cutie's single "The Ghosts of Beverly Drive." The track is taken from the band's eight studio album Kintsugi.

    Southern California is adding another festival to already crowded schedule. SFX promoter ID&T, who puts on events like Tomorrowland, TomorrowWorld, Sensation and Mysteryland, is gearing up for its first ever west coast festival after just arriving in the United States in 2013. It was announced earlier in the year that they would be bringing a brand new festival concept, One Tribe Festival, to the west coast and now the full lineup has been revealed. The festival caters to a more underground-leaning crowd with names like Carl Craig, Jamie Jones, Guy Gerber, Damian Lazarus and Guti (live) all performing, while popular crossover acts in Kygo, Tycho and Gramatik will also share their talents.

Among those included are selections from Wiz Khalifa, Ed Sheeran, The Black Keys and Shakira.

    On a day of pranks, jokes and general tomfoolery, it can be hard to believe any sort of announcement made by artists. One such revelation that on first glance seems too good to be true, but in reality is 100 percent true -- do not do this to Canada -- Skrillex has announced the lineup of acts who will join him on the July Canadian Full Flex Tour. The announced 2015 acts are Jack Ü, meaning Diplo will join to perform as their duo, Canadian dubstep duo Zeds Dead, Harlem rapper A$AP Ferg, Tycho, Jack Ü collaborator and Canadian singer Kiesza, OWSLA signees Hundred Waters and a back-to-back set from Anna Lunoe and mija.

It is headlined by an eclectic group of DJs like Flume, Odesza, RL Grime, SBTRKT, John Digweed, Tycho and Griz.
