    The mysterious Los Angeles-based producer, ZHU has come alive. After months of staying totally silent, ZHU unveiled a brand new website generationwhy.com, which has just a large word scramble and an email sign up. Once you sign up, it tells you what number sign up you are. Within the word scramble there is a list of artists who ZHU is collaborating with on music that will presumably appear on his upcoming album or at least an EP. Among those that have been spotted so far are Skrillex, Alunageorge, A-Trak, Gallant and interestingly enough Bone Thugs N Harmony.

    The mysterious ZHU took to the airwaves last night for his first ever radio mix. The "Faded" DJ did a special after hours mix for Pete Tong on BBC Radio One, which features some brand new unreleased material. The notoriously reclusive DJ has only released a handful of tracks, which include the Grammy-nominated single, "Faded," and his 'Nightday EP,' as well as a few other bootlegs and remixes that were done for the likes of Outkast and Lana Del Ray. Fans now have a chance to hear some new music from Stephen Zhu, including two unreleased originals.

    Deep house sensation ZHU has unveiled the music video for his 2014 track "Cocaine Models." Taken from his 4-track Nightday EP, "Cocaine Models" did not get the same acclaim or fame as "Faded," which earned the mysterious producer a Grammy nod, but it sill has the same emotion found in his other tracks. The music video is an avant-garde interpretation of the song, directed by Zhu himself.

    Many festivals wait months to release their festival video recap as it takes some time to cut the footage and edit it together. Plus, event companies usually wait until they can use the footage as a promotional tool to announce the following festival or help sell tickets for the next year. Stereosonic just threw that model out the window by releasing their aftermovie two weeks after the festival wrapped up, putting together a 6 minute movie filled with crowd shots, interviews with some of the acts who graced the stages around Australia and plenty of clips showing off the massive crowd and production.

    The mysterious ZHU has suddenly reappeared with a new song on soundcloud featuring DC up-and-coming rapper Goldlink. ZHU has tabbed Goldlink to help refresh his tune "Paradise Awaits" from his "The Nightday" EP released earlier in the year. It is not a new song, but the flip creates a new atmosphere for "Paradise Awaits." Steven Zhu, better known as ZHU slows down the track, making a few adjustments to make room for Goldlink. The "Faded" producer takes out his own verses, letting Goldlink have the spotlight for an opening verse, but his whimsical falsettos dominate the chorus.

    One of the most mysterious artists in the world, ZHU just had his first in-studio interview in Australia on "Triple J" in the morning. Joining the Stereosonic tour across Australia, Steven Zhu, better known as the Los Angeles-based producer ZHU, stopped in somewhere near the Triple J studios to chat with the Matt & Alex on "Triple J" breakfast. The "Faded" producer has kept his identity shrouded in mystery and even went so far as to do the interview in another room away from interviewers Matt & Alex. The interview focuses on the ZHU image and how he is able to stay anonymous, the reasoning behind it and his music.
