The Barbershop franchise is back after 10 years. Following the 2005 spin-off Beauty Shop, a third Barbershop film is in the making, and Nicki Minaj has been confirmed as one of its actors alongside Common, Ice Cube, Eve, Regina Hall and Cedric The Entertainer. The Pinkprint femcee will play the part of Draya, "the sassy new hairdresser of the beauty shop portion of the barbershop," Variety reports. -

Taylor Swift '1989' World Tour Kicks Off In Tokyo With Sold-Out Crowd [SETLIST]
Taylor Swift kicked off her 1989 World Tour in Tokyo earlier this morning (at least for us on the other side of the world) at the Tokyo Dome in front of a 55,000-plus sold-out crowd. The set mostly consisted of songs from her latest effort, however, some old fan favorites such as "I Knew You Were Trouble" and a rock version of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" also made the cut. Some of Swift's friends including Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez, HAIM, Karlie Kloss and Cara Delevingne even made onscreen cameos during the concert. -
Fetty Wap 'Trap Queen' Remixed by Gucci Mane, Azealia Banks, Migos' Quavo
One of the biggest songs in the United States right now, Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen," just got a pair of official remixes. The first in the United States features Atlanta rappers Gucci Mane and Migos member Quavo, while the UK version has an extra verse from Azealia Banks. These two remixes follow up a previous rework from New York MCs French Montana and Fabolous. The original mix has been everywhere on the radio, charts and on TV as Fetty Wap, real name Willie Maxwell, has gone from a unknown rapper in Paterson, New Jersey to an artist with star potential. -
DOJ Investigating Apple Pressuring Labels to End Free Spotify Streaming
If anyone isn't convinced that streaming is the next frontier of music, the developments behind the scenes occurring right now in 2015 should be enough to show them otherwise. Apple has been busy lately revamping Beats Music, the streaming arm of Beats, which they purchased for $3 billion last May and some details have leaked out to the press about what the future of Apple music is starting to look like. The Silicon Valley giant is making some aggressive moves to leverage its size in the industry and according to recent reports, it may have overstepped the boundaries with a DOJ investigation pending on Apple's pressuring the major's to end free streaming on Spotify. It has also reportedly lobbied Universal Music Group to take down its music from YouTube. -

One Direction to Appear on Late Night TV for the First Time Without Zayn Malik
One Direction is entering a new period of its career that doesn't include Zayn Malik, who left the group in March. The four remaining members -- Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Harry Styles -- soldiered on following the news, performing live overseas and starting work on a new album. The group recently announced that its first late-night TV appearance sans Malik will occur May 14 on "The Late Late Show with James Corden." -

Snoop Dogg is getting ready to release his 13th album, Bush, and fans can stream the album over at iTunes Radio a full week ahead of its release. The Pharrell Williams-produced will feature guest appearances by Stevie Wonder, Gwen Stefani and Kendrick Lamar. So far the rapper has shared "Peaches N Cream," "So Many Pros" and "California Rolls."
