Skrillex Offering Backstage Passes For Snapchat Handle
Snapchat is the hot new social media platform for artists to stay in touch with their fans. While it can provide a disturbingly unfiltered view into the minds of your fans, it is also a good outlet to show off where you are in the world or tease some new music with short clips that will eventually go away (or so you hope). One issue plaguing many artists is that they may not be the first adopters of the new platform and their preferred name is taken by a super fan looking to hold onto the name of their idol. Most of the time this resolved through back channels, but it appears as though Skrillex is having a difficult time getting a hold of the "Skrillex" name on snapchat. Someone else took it before he did and the "Recess" DJ is offering the owner backstage passes in return for the handle.
