• Sam Smith, Joey Bada$$, Tove Lo Added to Hangout Festival 2015 Lineup

    Alabama's 2015 Hangout Festival already had a stacked lineup when it announced its lineup in January of the Foo Fighters, Grammy Award-winner Beck, Skrillex, My Morning Jacket, Paramore, Spoon, Major Lazer and others, but it got greedy and decided to add even more names to the lineup. The second wave of artists is not a lot of names, but Hangout makes it count, with four-time Grammy Award-winner Sam Smith leading the charge, flanked by Tove Lo and Joey Bada$$ at his side.

    Have you been watching the current season of "RHOA"? Claudia Jordan is new to the canvas, and boy, has she made some serious waves with some of the other ladies. Leakes decided pretty much from the start that Jordan was not worth her time, and rather than ignore her, she began throwing stones. As a result, Jordan might be the first woman who has accurately ripped Leakes apart, and for that the Bravo producers love her.

  • Taylor Swift Tops Billboard 200 Again, Fifth Harmony Shows Up, Bob Dylan and Diana Krall Cover, Nicki Minaj Sets Interesting Mark

    Taylor Swift and 1989 is at no. 1 in the Billboard 200 for the 11th time, tying Fearless for the performer's most weeks at the top of the charts with one album. The record shifted 108,000 equivalent units, a slight uptick from last week. 1989 is one of four albums that have spent at least ten weeks at no. 1 since 2010, the others being Fearless, the Frozen soundtrack as well as Adele's 21. Swift's album is followed this week by Now 53, the newest edition of the hits collection, at no. 2 with 99,000 units moved.

    Ever since Barbara Walters left her seat at the table on ABC's "The View" last spring, the show has been in a slump. The powers-that-be seemed to truly believe that if they brought in a bunch of new blood they could bring it back to being the solid morning chatfest that once dominated its time slot. Instead, their on-air talent has clashed and chaos behind the scenes has created an even bigger mess that has translated into even lower ratings. After months of clashing with Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O'Donnell just announced that she will be leaving and the producers are scrambling to try and save the show. The problem is that the environment is so toxic that even Walters refuses to return.

    Festivals either hate it or they secretly love it, but every year several artists leak on social media their inclusion in a festival lineup. It could be that they are just too excited and cannot hold it in anymore and just need to tell their fans, or it is just an honest mistake, but either way, once it is out there for any amount of time, somebody is going to see it. As everyone knows, the Internet is forever. Skrillex did just that yesterday, Feb. 10, on Twitter when he blurted out that he was going to headline Insomniac's Electric Forest in 2015.
