The crowd packed in the Dallas City Performance Hall to see the Dallas Street Choir perform in 'Street Requiem,' Jan. 25. No, this is not Texas’s newest, hottest performance group. It is a choir made up of community members who are all homeless.
  • Drake's Surprise Album To Count Toward Cash Money Requirements, Was Intended To Be A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape

Last week Drake dropped his surprise album If Your Reading This It's Too Late. It has since broken Spotify records, topped the Billboard 200, and sold 500,000 copies in its first week. Although he had confirmed that he had a new project coming early this year, most people assumed it would be a mixtape, and Drake even used that terminology himself. When it showed up as a Cash Money record, people were surprised. But apparently making the album available for purchase only via iTunes wasn't the original plan.
  • Kanye West Breakfast Club Interview: Yeezy Speaks On New Album, Beck, Amber Rose, Beyoncé, Drake, Dame Dash, Tyga & More [WATCH]

Following a busy few weeks that included performing twice at the Grammys, hosting his New York Fashion Week show for the Kanye x adidas line, debuting a new song, making a surprise cameo at Drake's concert and topping it all off with a three-song medley for Saturday Night Live's 40th anniversary special, Kanye West stopped by The Breakfast Club this morning to clear up pretty much any question you might have. He spoke on the Beck Grammy drama, sneaker culture, his wife Kim Kardashian, moving culture, getting rid of classism, Amber Rose's recent comments, Tyga's relationship with Kylie Jenner, why he keeps sticking up for Beyoncé, why OG's and young bloods need to work together, his situation with Dame Dash, what to expect on his next album and much more. Here's some of what he had to say.

  • Beach Slang Frontman James Alex on Sudden Success, the Philadelphia Music Scene & How to Make Real Art [EXCLUSIVE]

James Alex talks with unfiltered passion when discussing music, and that's not the least bit surprising considering he fronts the passionate punk trio that goes by Beach Slang. He puts together sentences filled with intelligent cracks and metaphors, leaving just enough room for a strategically placed "f*ck." Alex peppers his thoughts with "you know what I mean" in order to look for reassurance while he rambles about the unexpected success of his year-old band from Philadelphia. He isn't the confident Mr. Rock Star type. He's the guy down the street who took a chance on music, and he's damn glad he did.
  • Fall Out Boy Release 'Irresistible' Music Video from 'American Beauty/American Psycho' Showing off Terrible Basketball Skills [WATCH]

The first batch of music videos from Fall Out Boy's new album American Beauty/American Psycho may have been filled with dramatics and daring visuals, but the band isn't always that serious. Today (Feb. 20), the Chicago rockers dropped a new music video for its latest AB/AP single "Irresistible" and they're just a couple of normal dudes, playing some b-ball in the park... with some very, very short shorts.
  • 'Amen Break' Fundraiser Gathered $6,000 So Far for Copyright Owner of Greatest Sample in History

The owner of the greatest sample in history, the "Amen Break," is receiving some financial restitution thanks to a new online fundraising campaign, although it barely scrapes the surface of the profit its brought hundreds of performers since its creation.
